Industrial processor module extends DIMM family

emtrion has extended its DIMM family with a new industrial processor module, based on the Cortex-A9 RZ/A1 family from Renesas. It is available at distributor Rutronik. The module is fully compatible with the other modules of the emtrion DIMM series, both electrically and mechanically.

Rutronik is presenting the S110 SoftDevice v7.0, the next major release of Nordic Semiconductor’s Bluetooth low energy stack for the nRF51822 Bluetooth low energy (BLE) and 2.4GHz proprietary System-on-Chip (SoC) and the nRF51422 ANT and ANT/Bluetooth low energy multiprotocol SoCs. Infra-red LED slimmed down to lowest ever profile

First SMD-type ultrasonic sensor takes bow at Sensor + Test

Murata has developed a surface-mount device (SMD)-type ultrasonic sensor whose production starts in summer 2014.
