Integrated RFID at Tire Technology Expo 2020
Tyrata a tyre sensor and data management company, will demonstrate its IntelliTread Drive-Over System (DOS) with integrated RFID technology at the Tire Technology Expo, February 25th to 27th in Hanover, Germany. The RFID technology enables the DOS to correlate tread-depth information of each individual tyre as part of an asset management system.
Test solutions for BLE up to version 5.2
The Bluetooth Special Interest Group (Bluetooth SIG) adopted the first specifications for BLE 5.2 at the end of 2019. This initially concerns the new power control functions. Rohde & Schwarz has already integrated specified tests into the Bluetooth test software of its wireless testers in the R&S CMW platform.

Accurate high-frequency testing on desktop
Brüel & Kjær Sound & Vibration Measurement A/S, a subsidiary of Spectris, has released a high-frequency testing HATS for speech and sound, well suited for use in confined areas. Building on the success of its high-frequency head and torso simulator type 5128, Brüel & Kjær’s new tabletop version has been developed to support customers testing headphones on their work desk or in small anechoic chambers.
Approval for 5G NR standalone mode test
Anritsu Corporation has announced that its joint collaboration with Samsung Electronics’ System LSI Business on 5G NR Standalone mode test has achieved approval of key test scenarios by the Global certification Forum (GCF) and PCS Type Certification Review Board (PTCRB).
