Rutronik will use the Sensor + Test exhibition in Nuremberg to present Micronas’s extended Hall-effect sensor portfolio developed to withstand the harshest environmental conditions from - 40°C up to 150°C ambient temperature. This feature enables the new HAL 15xy switch family, successor of the HAL 5xy family to bring quality and reliability to a broad variety of automotive applications.

The Oslon Compact SFH 4710 infrared light-emitting diode (IRED) from Osram Opto Semiconductors closes the gap between high- and low-power IREDs. Free2Move’s powerful new Bluetooth module F2M03GXA is now available from Rutronik. Utilising the AllnGaP technology, the VLMx234 series provides exceptional brightness with a typical luminous intensity of 3500mcd and maximum luminous intensity of 4900mcd at 70mA, while delivering improved thermal performance compared to previous-generation LEDs.

Rutronik now has two new 940nm high-speed infrared emitting diodes in compact 3.2mm x 2.51mm x 1.2mm clear SMD side-view packages from Vishay. The new diodes VSMY14940 and VSMB14940 combine high radiant intensity and optical power with fast switching times.  

A new optocoupler from Lite-On is now available from distributor Rutronik. It consists of a high efficient AlGaAs light emitting diode and a high speed optical detector. This design provides excellent AC and DC isolation between input and output sides of the optocoupler.

The new Fujitsu D3313-S is a Mini-ITX mainboard for 24/7 continuous operation in an extended temperature range of 0° to 60°C. It is based on systems on a chip (SOC) from the new AMD Embedded G-Series SOC, which is developed especially for industrial applications. Osram Opto Semiconductors presents the new multi-chip-LEDs with a broad bright blue color range. This gives lighting designers a free choice of colors for the interior lighting in vehicles. Color design now covers cluster lighting to an increasing extent, notably in combined instruments such as speedometers and rev counters, in displays, as backlighting for switches and for ambient lighting.
