Jamicon DC fans from Aerco are now available with a new bearing system that is far less expensive than ball bearings, provides longer life than sleeve bearings and is quieter than ball and sleeve combinations.

OKW has introduced the ‘METTEC’ 19” Rack cases, which are manufactured by their METcase™ division. These versatile enclosures feature an attractive front bezel which incorporates unique ‘comfort handles’ for easy handling. Typical applications will include networking and communications equipment, industrial computers, sound and studio systems, laboratory instruments and industrial control systems etc.

TEKO's ‘COFFER’ enclosures in an extensive range of sizes and versions. These low cost multipurpose enclosures have been designed for fast assembly of electronics and electrical components. Typical applications will include measurement devices, prototype systems, RF equipment, switch boxes, security electronics etc.

OKW’s ‘SNAPTEC’ enclosures provide high performance IP 65 protection class at economic prices. From around £4 each for 100 pieces, these cases also offer fast assembly times resulting in significant cost savings either during production, or later during routine maintenance.

Designed for harsh, rugged environments, the new Orion 120mm AC fan with metal blades from Solid State Supplies is an economical cooling solution ideally suited to military, chemical, process control and industrial applications.

Available in the UK from Aerco are new ADDA AC fans that are built in larger frame sizes than have previously been available from the company and, because they use a new, high performance, capacitor motor, provide the cooling capacity that makes them ideal for large industrial cabinets and the refrigeration industry.

Following the acquisition of the West Hyde small enclosures business when it ceased trading, Hammond Electronics has re-introduced the seven-strong Sink Box range of extruded aluminium cases, designed for the horizontal mounting of PCBs or chassis. The four larger sizes are designed for the direct horizontal housing of 3U Eurocards, either 160, 220 or 280mm deep.

The Strongbox range of all-steel, fully welded equipment chests is designed to provide a rugged and low-cost, portable housing at a fraction of the price of a standard instrument rack.

OKW’s ‘DATEC-MOBIL-BOX’ enclosures are designed for fitting standard LCD displays. These ergonomic hand-held cases are good for housing both indoor and outdoor mobile electronics. Typical applications will include data-collection units, medical and wellness devices, and test and measurement equipment.
