LDA e4 to be presented at FIA Futures and Options Expo

FPGA boards based on the 16nm Xilinx Virtex UltraScale+ FPGA

BittWare announced at the October meet-up of the NMI FPGA Network the first customer shipments of two new PCIe boards based on Xilinx's 16nm Virtex UltraScale+ FPGAs. The XUPP3R is a 3/4-length PCIe board that supports PCIe Gen4 x8 or Gen3 x16 and offers four front panel QSFP28 cages, each supporting 4 lanes of up to 25 Gbps with support for 10/25/40/100 GbE.

FPGA board support packages greatly simplify application development

Designer and manufacturer of Altera-based FPGA platforms, BittWare, has announced at the Intel SoC FPGA Developer Forum 2016 (ISDF16) the availability of Arria 10 FPGA Board Support Packages (BSPs) for Altera's recently released OpenCL SDK 16.0.2, including support for production silicon. BittWare's OpenCL BSPs allow customers to quickly begin developing applications for the Altera Arria 10 1150GX FPGA using OpenCL.

FPGA board features support for up to 256GB of DDR4

BittWare has announced at The 24th IEEE International Symposium on Field-Programmable Custom Computing Machines the release of a COTS PCIe board based on the industry's highest bandwidth 20nm FPGA, the Xilinx UltraScale VU190. Called the XUSP3R, the 3/4-length PCIe board offers up to four Gen3 x8 PCIe interfaces, along with four front panel QSFP28 cages, supporting 16 lanes of 25Gbps or 4 lanes of 100Gbps - including 100 GbE.

BittWare has announced an OpenPOWER CAPI Developer's Kit for its Xilinx FPGA-enabled accelerator cards. Providing a fast, efficient way to connect the Xilinx All Programmable FPGA to a CAPI-enabled IBM POWER8 system, the developer's kit includes the FPGA accelerator card, IBM Power Service Layer (PSL) IP to provide the connection to the POWER8 chip, CAPI host support library, and an example CAPI design.

PCIe board is based on Altera's Arria 10 FPGA & SoC

At the 2015 HPC for Wall Street - Cloud & Big Data Conference, BittWare announced the availability of the second board of its extensive family of products based on Altera's Arria 10 FPGAs and SoCs, a ¾-length PCIe board called the A10P3S.
