µModule regulator powers FPGAs, ASICs and MPUs
Configurable as a single (16A), dual (12A, 4A or 8A, 8A), triple (8A, 4A, 4A) or quad (4A each) output regulator, the LTM4644 step-down µModule regulator has been announced by Linear Technology. With this flexibility, system designers can use one compact µModule regulator to meet the voltage and load current requirements of FPGAs, ASICs and microprocessors.

Adaptive-Dead-Time circuitry maximises MOSFET power efficiency
Featuring Adaptive-Dead-Time and Shoot-Through protection, the MIC4605 is an 85V Half Bridge MOSFET driver from Micrel. By actively monitoring the Half Bridge, the Adaptive-Dead-Time circuitry can minimise the time between high and low side MOSFET transitions to increase the power efficiency, while the Anti-Shoot-Through circuitry prevents erroneous inputs and noise from turning both MOSFETs on at the same time.
