MOST150 data link layer specification available for license
Microchip Technology has today revealed that its proprietary MOST150 Data Link Layer Specification is available for license, on a royalty-bearing basis. Making the key technologies available for the lower layers of MOST150 (at an earlier date than originally stipulated), Microchip has provided other semiconductor companies the opportunity to develop, manufacture and supply chips with a MOST150 interface.
TI's multicore software development kit extended
Texas Instruments has today announced that it has extended its Multicore Software Development Kit to the low-power OMAP-L138 and OMAP-L132 DSP + ARM9 processors. Enabling customers to migrate to high-performance devices without moving to another software platform, the MCSDK reduces development time for applications in industrial, communications, telecom and medical markets.
Full development tool support for Renesas' RXv2 core
IAR Systems has today announced full development tools support for Renesas' new, high-performance 32-bit RX CPU core for embedded devices in the consumer, industrial, and office equipment fields, the RXv2.
