Brüel & Kjær has today announced the latest version of their Predictor-LimA environmental noise mapping software. A highly advanced system for environmental noise calculation, mapping and analysis, the Predictor-LimA Software Suite is powerful and intuitive. Ideal for both experts and non-experts, the software models a range of noise applications including industrial noise, road, rail and air traffic.

Featuring a bigger calculation capacity for configurations 7810-C/D/E/F, the new updated release now supports Plus sized models. In order to help the user keep costs down when calculating smaller industrial noise projects, it has a new, entry-level configuration called Predictor-LimA ISO Standard Type 7810-I.

Making the solution even more powerful and cost effective for small businesses and universities, Predictor’s network modelling license now also supports server calculations on one dedicated PC in the network. Allowing one Predictor license to be used as a calculation engine for models made on a number of different PCs, this enables several people to work on noise models at once and initiate calculations from their own PC.

Brüel & Kjær’s customers with valid contracts will be able to upgrade and receive a new license, which enables them full use of the software, when they request it via the company’s Predictor-LimA Technical Support customer web portal. The new version is available for customers to download on Brüel & Kjær’s website.
