Part of its newly launched pinPOINT™ Precision Analogue Product Line, the ISL21007 reference from Intersil delivers low-noise performance at 4μVpp (0.1Hz to 10Hz) and low supply current at 150μA (max over temperature). With an input voltage range from 2.7V to 5.5V, the device is an ideal choice for portable instrumentation applications where power and noise are a concern.
Intersil’s ISL21007 sets a new standard for power savings among low-noise voltage references on the market. Earlier this year, Intersil’s ISL21009 set the industry standard at 180μA (max over temperature) with 4μVpp (0.1Hz to 10Hz). The ISL21009 has an input voltage range of 3.5V to 16.5V and is designed for industrial applications that operate with a 15V supply rail. Both of these devices consume at least four times less supply current than any competitive low-noise voltage reference.

The superior performance of the ISL21007 doesn’t end with the power consumption to noise performance ratio. In keeping with Intersil’s pinPOINT™ product line’s commitment to unwavering accuracy over time and temperature, the device delivers guaranteed initial accuracy of ±0.5mV and less than 3ppm/degrees C of temperature drift. This enables the ISL21007 to deliver precise measurements for data acquisition applications in noisy environments with severe temperature variations.
The ISL21007 is available now in an 8-lead SOIC package.
