Nu Horizons Electronics announces the PI7C9X110, PCI Express (PCIe) to PCI reversible bridge from Pericom. The chip can be configured for forward or reverse bridging operation. Comprising one PCI Express port and one 32-bit/66 MHz PCI port, the P7C9X110 connects legacy PCI products to PCIe systems, or PCIe products to legacy PCI systems.
PCIe features include lane polarity toggle, beacon support, advanced error reporting, generator checks for chip testing, support for a maximum payload of 512 bytes, and virtual isochronous operation.
PCI/PCI-X features include 3.3V signalling that is 5V I/O tolerant, two levels of internal arbitration for up to 8 bus masters, PCI INT interrupt or MSI function support.

The PI7C9X110 offers transparent and non-transparent modes of operation. It supports SM bus and I2C serial EPROM, hot plugging, GPIO, and Masquerade.

The device comes in a 12mm x 12mm, 160-pin, LFBGA package and operates over an extended commercial temperature range of 0 degrees C to +85 degrees C.
