Farnell to showcase engineering innovations at electronica 2026

Farnell will showcase technology innovations, supplier developments and interactive experiences at electronica 2026, taking place in Munich, Germany, from 10 to 13 November.

The electronics distributor will exhibit in Avnet City, Hall B5, stand 103, under the theme Put Innovation to the Test. Its programme will include interviews with technology leaders, hands-on activities and demonstrations highlighting developments across the electronics industry.

A central feature of the stand will be Innovation Spotlight, a series of interviews exploring trends and challenges in engineering and electronics. Topics will include artificial intelligence (AI), electrification, infrastructure, automation and intelligent systems, with discussions focusing on their implications for product development and the electronics supply chain.

The exhibition also marks 10 years since Farnell became part of Avnet. Rebeca Obregon, president of Farnell, said the anniversary provided an opportunity to reflect on the company’s development and its role in supporting customers as the technology landscape evolves.

“Together, the strengths and expertise of our businesses create greater value for customers while maintaining the distinct proposition they know and trust from Farnell,” Obregon said. She added that the company looked forward to welcoming visitors to explore emerging technologies and exchange ideas with the engineering community.

Visitors will also be able to take part in a virtual racing challenge and activities linked to the element14 Community, Farnell’s online engineering community. These will include information about upcoming Design Challenges, the RoadTest Product Review Program and an opportunity to meet MayerMakes, who has appeared on the element14 Presents YouTube channel.

Prize draws will run alongside the activities, with prizes including Raspberry Pi Pico boards and other technology products.

Farnell will be exhibiting at electronica 2026 in Avnet City, Hall B5, stand 103, in Munich from 10 to 13 November.
