Hollywood stars promote latest innovations at 2015 CES

At the 2015 CES, which takes place from 6th to 9th January in Las Vegas, Hollywood stars, TV personalities, professional athletes and musical icon will be promoting the latest innovations. Nick Cannon, an actor, entrepreneur and radio/TV personality, will serve as the Ambassador for Entertainment Matters, which is content-focused CES programme developed for the film, television and digital communities.

At the SMS Audio booth (LVCC, South Hall 1, #21012), rapper, entrepreneur, investor and actor Curtis ‘50 Cent’ Jackson will make an appearance and sign autographs for fans and attendees on Wednesday 7th January, from 2 to 3pm. 

On Thursday 8th January, from 12 to 12.30pm, Dr. Phil McGraw, host of talk show, Dr. Phil, and co-founder of Doctor on Demand will speak at the Digital Health Summit. The sixth annual summit, which is scheduled to take place at the Venetian, Level 2, Bellini ballroom 2004, will focus on the latest enhancements that impact the healthcare system.

C Space is a new show location at the 2015 CES, dedicated to the marketing, advertising, content and creative communities. American radio personality, television host and producer Ryan Seacrest will headline address alongside Bob Pittman, Chairman and CEO of iHeartMedia. The headliner address is scheduled to take place at 1pm on Wednesday 7th January, in the Pinyon 5 Ballroom at ARIA.

In a SuperSession led by Rolling Stone Executive Editor Nathan Brackett, Rock icon Neil Young will share his passion for high-res music. This is scheduled to take place on Wednesday 7th January, from 10.15 to 11.15am at the LVCC, room N257.

Brookstone's BodyForm Roller will be launched at CES by Dolvett Quince, who is a fitness expert, television star, New York Times author and lead trainer on The Biggest Loser. Quince will also attend a celebrity autograph session on Thursday 8th January, at 11am and 3pm at the Brookstone booth (LVCC, South Hall 4, #36043).

As co-founder of the company, mountain snowboarder and three-time Freeride World Champion and expéditions leader Xavier de Le Rue will represent HEXO+ (LVCC, South Hall, #26320) at CES.

On Thursday 8th January, at 1pm on the Ford Broadcast Stage (LVCC, North Hall, #2122), star of Syfy channel’s Ascension and Battlestar Galactica, actress Tricia Helfer will be hosting an autograph session on behalf of Elektrobit (EB) Automotive. Offering automotive software solutions and services for comfort, safety, entertainment, navigation and connected services, Elektrobit Automotive enhances the in-vehicle experience.

The FashionWare runway shows at CES will be hosted by American fashion designer, fashion commentator and former Project Runway contestant Nick Verreos. The shows are scheduled to take place on Wednesday 7th January, at the WebMD Wellness Lounge (Sands, Level 2, #73110) at 10am. Verreos will also be in the WebMD booth during the fashion shows and will do a meet and greet in the FashionWare booth at 1.30pm.

Professional street skateboarder Josh Kalis will attend the 2015 CES with Trace Live Network and will be at their booth (LVCC, South Hall 2, #25618) from 11am to 4pm, on Wednesday 7th January. The visually intelligent smart camera manufactured by Trace Live Network autonomously operates a series of vehicle accessories and locks onto and follows any subject, all while live-streaming HD footage to the internet.

The Last Gadget Standing and the Mobile Apps Showdown will be hosted by The Wrap-Up Show’s Jon Hein on Thursday 8th January, from 10.30am to 2pm at the LVCC, North Hall, Room N255. Hein will then be available for interviews at the WebMD Wellness Lounge and Studio booth (Sands, Level 2, #73110) at 4pm.

American retired professional basketball players and NBA legends Calvin Murphy and Adonal Foyle will make appearances at ZTE Corp.’s booth (LVCC, South Hall 3, #31431) during CES. Foyle will be at the company’s booth on Wednesday 7th and Thursday 8th January from 3 to 4pm, while Murphy will make an appearance on Wednesday 7th January from 1 to 5pm.

Red Bull athlete and skateboarder Maders Apse will be conducting live demos at AirDog’s booth (LVCC, Central Plaza, # CP51) throughout the 2015 CES, and will be available for interviews and photo opportunities.

At the Body Glove Mobile booth (LVCC, South Hall 3, #31121), CES attendees can meet and greet professional Big Wave Waterman Garrett McNamara, who is a World Record Holder for surfing the largest wave and one of only two people in the world to surf tsunami waves created by calving glaciers. McNamara will make his appearance at the booth on Wednesday 7th January, from 1 to 5pm.

On Thursday 8th January, from 11 to 11.45am and 3 to 3.45pm, professional skateboarder and part-owner of Osiris Shoes, Tony Magnusson, will perform on the half pipe at the Body Glove Mobile booth.

At 2.30pm daily, CES attendees are encouraged to hear, feel and experience the House of Marley's 2015 product line-up through several live performances at the House of Marley booth (LVCC, Central Hall, #7913). Performances include Johnny Osbourne on Wednesday 7th January, Shinehead on Thursday 8th January and Queen Sister Nancy on Friday 9th January.

During the 2015 CES, Under Armour will host several celebrities at their booth (Sands, Level 2, #73915). On Wednesday 7th January, from 9.30 to 10am, pro trainer Gunnar Peterson will discuss ‘Turning Data into Training Direction’. pro golfer Jordan Spieth, pro surfer Brianna Cope, Hall of Famer Cal Ripken Jr. and Jay Glazer from FOX Sports will also make appearances from 2 to 3pm and will be available for interviews that afternoon.

The dance crew Kinjaz will perform at the Private Internet Access booth (LVCC, South Hall 1, #22024) during the 2015 CES.
