Yamaichi Electronics presents the new OpenTop Test Contactor in the YED274 series for BGA/CSP, SOP and QFP IC components.  The new OpenTop Test Contactor from Yamaichi Electronics can be used for manual and automated insertion of semiconductor components. A typical application is the programming of memory ICs.  

With the CN111S and CN112S series, Yamaichi is bringing socket versions for DDR2 and DDR3 SO-DIMM memory modules to the market. With these two new series, Yamaichi is expanding its large family of production use and Test & Burn-in sockets. 

Featuring an adapter glued to the FFC/FPC, the HF512S high speed connector series expands the Non-ZIF connector family and extends Yamaichi's FFC/FPC connector offering. The addition of the HF512S to the Non-ZIF connector family primarily means quick, reliable assembly of the FFC/FPC without opening/closing a flap or drawer as conventional zero-force connectors require.

Yamaichi Electronics have enhanced their Y-ConRJ45 series with the new Y-ConProfixPlug. Designed to be easy to handlle and fulfil the stringent Category 6A according to the ISO/ IEC 11801 standard, the Y-ConProfixPlug is a RJ45 connector which is able to transmit 10G Base-T.

The new Y-ConCover-40-O (O stands for Overmold) is an RJ45 hybrid connector consisting of a metal protective housing with additional overmolding that achieves outstanding sealing characteristics. It is based on the Yamaichi Electronics "Hermetic Sealed" technology, which was developed a few years ago for extremely reliable photovoltaic connection systems. Cost pressure in the photovoltaic industry is increasing. That’s why Yamaichi Electronics has developed another connector version for 4 to 6mm² cable cross-sections. In many production facilities the regular main board is used for testing of COM Express modules. The modules are plugged into the usual COM Express connectors. Due to the limited number of mating cycles of the COM Express connectors, the main boards have to be replaced after 30 to 40 test cycles.
