Fascination awakened for future technology

Data isolation transformers for use in SHDSL applications
Wurth Electronics Midcom has announced new data isolation transformers for use in SHDSL applications. These MID-DSLITL transformers are built on a self-shielding EP package, offer longitudinal balance and THD performance. They are designed to meet UL & IEC standards and a dielectric of 1,500VAC.
Terminal series expanded for currents up to 120A
With REDCUBE PRESS-FIT, Würth Elektronik eiSos offers high current contacts, which, thanks to their press-fit termination resulting in cold welding, boast two advantages: a mechanically extremely robust connection and minimal contact resistance. REDCUBE PLUG expands this product group with an innovative terminal module for detachable wire-to-board connections. REDCUBE PLUG is also suited for tool-free assembly in hard-to-access places.
Transmitter coils featured in wireless charging system
Semtech’s LinkCharge 20 now features Wurth Electronics wireless charging coils, created for charging high-power applications. The company claims that LinkCharge 20 is the only available inductive wireless charging system beyond 15W that is backwards compatible. It uses a proprietary protocol for transmitter/receiver communication up to 20W, and is also fully backwards compatible to existing standards at 5-15W.

Power line chokes suit high-voltage applications
