On the 10th-11th June 2017, Berlin Tempelhof was transformed into the Formula E race track and the event for customers and partners of the Würth Elektronik eiSos Group. The manufacturer of electronic and electromechanical components set up their own racing suite for over 100 guests in the former airport building.

  Wurth Electronics Midcom has announced new data isolation transformers for use in SHDSL applications. These MID-DSLITL transformers are built on a self-shielding EP package, offer longitudinal balance and THD performance. They are designed to meet UL & IEC standards and a dielectric of 1,500VAC.

With REDCUBE PRESS-FIT, Würth Elektronik eiSos offers high current contacts, which, thanks to their press-fit termination resulting in cold welding, boast two advantages: a mechanically extremely robust connection and minimal contact resistance. REDCUBE PLUG expands this product group with an innovative terminal module for detachable wire-to-board connections. REDCUBE PLUG is also suited for tool-free assembly in hard-to-access places.

Semtech’s LinkCharge 20 now features Wurth Electronics wireless charging coils, created for charging high-power applications. The company claims that LinkCharge 20 is the only available inductive wireless charging system beyond 15W that is backwards compatible. It uses a proprietary protocol for transmitter/receiver communication up to 20W, and is also fully backwards compatible to existing standards at 5-15W.

  During a visit to the Swiss company’s headquarters in Nänikon, on 10 January 2017 representatives of Würth Elektronik eiSos handed over the Special Achievement Award to the Distrelec Group AG.

Würth Elektronik eiSos has participated at EMV 2017, the international trade show with workshops for electromagnetic compatibility. Würth Elektronik eiSos presents its WE-TPB HV series of current-compensated, three-phase, power line chokes for high-voltage applications. This series guarantees a rated voltage up to 760 VAC, which is 70% more than that offered by comparable products already available on the market. The INNOposium, a Würth Elektronik and Texas Instruments forum for decision-makers in the electronics sector, was held for the second year running on 4th October 2016 in the Kulturbetrieb Wagenhallen in Stuttgart. In partnership with Linear Technology, Wurth Electronics Midcom introduces the new flyback transformers for LT8303 and LT8304 reference designs.
