At SMT Hybrid Packaging 2014, May 6-8, Pickering Interfaces will be showcasing its latest switching modules and chassis from booth 6-321. Products on show include PXI RF solid state 6GHz multiplexers, PXI microwave multiplexers, PXI BRIC family of large matrix modules and multiplexers, and LXI wideband modular matrix.

The date and venue for the 2014 PXI Show has been announced, with the 2014 show taking place at National Electronics Week (NEW) in Hall 2 at the NEC Birmingham, UK on 8th to 10th April 2014. NEW itself will be running alongside MACH, Drives and Controls and another four associated events to create the largest platform ever for the UK Industrial and Manufacturing industry.

  Pickering Interfaces will be showcasing its latest switching modules and chassis at the AMPER 2014 Exhibition in Hall V, Booth 3.06. These products include Pickering’s LXI, PXI, RF Matrix, Microwave Multiplexer and PCI Ranges.

Situated at stand J66, Pickering will be showcasing their latest models at  the Southern Manufacturing & Electronics Exhibition on 12 – 13, February 2014.

Pickering Interfaces has today announced that it is expanding its range of PXI RF solid state 6GHz switching solutions with the introduction of two new multiplexer versions (model #40-883). These versions include a SP8T (8:1) MUX occupying two PXI slots and a SP16T (16:1) MUX occupying three PXI slots.

Pickering Interfaces has today announced the release of the third edition of its book; LXImate – A Practical Guide to the LXI Standard and Getting Started with LXI Devices. LXImate is an overview of the LXI Standard—an open, accessible standard identifying specifications and solutions relating to the functional test, measurement and data acquisition industry.

Pickering Interfaces has expanded its range of 2Amp 1-Pole matrices with releases that include the highest density solutions available in PXI large matrix (BRIC) format. The 40-596, 40-597, and 40-598 are all BRIC 1-pole matrices with 2Amp current rating, up to 60W hot switch power and 100VDC/70VAC voltage rating – depending on the configuration, these products are available in 2 slot, 4 slot, and 8 slot PXI modules.

The Large Hadron Collider at the European Organisation for Nuclear Research, known as CERN, has come to the forefront of public attention recently with the discovery of the Higgs boson – the so called God’s particle. Pickering Interfaces is expanding its range of 2A matrices with the highest density solutions available in PXI. The new solutions increase the density of electro-mechanical relay matrices by up to 75% compared to Pickering Interfaces previous products and more than twice the density of competitor’s products.

Pickering Interfaces is expanding its range of 2A BRIC matrices with the introduction of the 40-568. The 40-568 is a high density multi-slot BRIC occupying 2, 4 or 8 slots of a PXI chassis and provides a range of 1 pole matrix solutions from 75x4 to 600x4, substantially increasing the density of 2A matrices compared to competing solutions.

Pickering Interfaces is expanding its range of low cost PXI multiplexers with the introduction of the 40-635, a single slot 3U PXI module providing a range of cost effective multiplexer configurations for general purpose test applications. The 40-635 is available in large range of different configurations to meet many different applications.

Pickering Interfaces is pleased to announce the expansion of its range of solid state PXI matrices with the introduction of the 40-501,a single slot 3U PXI module providing a high voltage 64x4 solid state matrix.
