Improved near-infrared sensitivity of CCD image sensors

Enhancing imaging performance in demanding industrial applications, ON Semiconductor has improved the Near-InfraRed (NIR) sensitivity of CCD image sensors. The 8MP KAI-08052 image sensor, the first device in ON Semiconductor’s CCD portfolio to leverage this new technology, provides up to twice the sensitivity in NIR wavelengths as the company’s standard Interline Transfer CCD pixel design.

Sensorless controller drives three-phase BLDC motors

Expanding its portfolio of motor controllers, ON Semiconductor has announced a high performance and feature-packed three-phase BLDC motor controller. The LV8907UW integrates gate drivers for six N-channel MOSFETs and a dual-stage charge pump for 100% duty-cycle operation. It supports an operating voltage range from 5.5 to 20V (4.5 to 40V transient).

Image sensor improves industrial inspection & mapping

Enabling new levels of performance and efficiency in critical industrial inspection and mapping applications, the KAI-47051 is claimed by ON Semiconductor to be the world’s highest resolution Interline Transfer CCD device.
