OKW has launched an unsealed (IP 41) version of its robust DATEC-COMPACT handheld enclosures for indoor applications. Specifying DATEC-COMPACT without its normal IP 65 seal enables OEM designers to house their electronics even more cost effectively. Applications for DATEC-COMPACT include mobile data recording, measuring and control, stock and sales logging, medical, laboratory and environmental technology.

OKW’s largest CARRYTEC handheld instrument enclosures can now be wall mounted for charging and datatransfer. OKW has created an adapter that allows the existing desktop station for CARRYTEC size L to be attached to a wall. CARRYTEC has been designed for a wide range of portable instrumentation applications.

OKW has launched BODY-CASE – the company’s first ever fully wearable standard electronic enclosures. Smart BODY-CASE is OKW’s first enclosure designed specifically for fitting a standard 18 mm wrist strap - so it can be worn just like a watch! OKW has launched its pioneering range of CONNECT enclosures for wired or USB electronics. CONNECT is aimed at electronics applications where the unit is connected to a cable, sits between cables or where the units are joined with USB connectors. Typical applications include medical, measurement and control devices. The cases can either be suspended on the cables or lay flat.

OKW has added a wall mount element to its SYNERGY electronic enclosures range, which is the company's first to be manufactured from both plastic and aluminium. The element enables any of the 36 Round, Oval, Square and Edge (rectangular) enclosures in the SYNERGY range to be mounted on a wall with just one screw.

Expanding its SMART-BOX range of advanced sealed enclosures for industrial electronics, OKW has introduced a new size: 130x220x60mm. Metal enclosures division METCASE, from OKW, has extended its bestselling COMBIMET range of aluminium 19” rack mount enclosures with the latest Version T open models. Version T is for networking, communications, laboratory and studio systems that require greater ventilation and ease of access to the electronics. The units are also more cost effective than fully enclosed models.
