Ultra-miniature quartz crystal only 0.33mm high
IQD Frequency Products has launched a small quartz crystal, the IQXC-240, which measures just 1.2x1.0mm with a height of only 0.33mm. The IQXC-240 is available in frequencies between 36 and 80MHz and is well suited for applications where space is at a premium such as IoT, VGA, USB and WiFi.
Ultra-tight stability clock oscillator for use in place of TCXO
It has been announced that IQD has launched a new range of ultra-low frequency stability HCMOS based clock oscillators. The IQXO-923 series is available with a frequency stability of only ±5ppm over the full industrial operating temperature range of -40 to +85°C.
Evaluation board enables fast testing for standard oscillators
With the IOSC Evaluation Board, IQD has enabled fast and precise testing of surface-mountable standard oscillators, VCXOs as well as TCXO/VCTCXOs. The board is available in unassembled versions and one assembled version for immediate use. The IOSC Evaluation Board comes with six smaller boards, which can be broken off from the main board.
Clock oscillator series has three output options
Three outputs are available for the IQXO-597 range of high frequency clock oscillators. The outputs are sine, differential sine and low voltage, positive emitter-coupled logic (LVPECL).
Ultra miniature high frequency fundamental quartz crystals
It has been announced that IQD has launched a range of quartz crystals which can operate in the fundamental mode up to 200MHz. The quartz crystals are housed in a hermetically sealed 2.5x2.0x0.6mm (IQXC-152) and 2.0 x 1.6 x 0.5mm (IQXC-153) ceramic four pad package, two of the pads are grounded to the metal lid to improve the EMI.
IQD goes global with Digi-Key
IQD Frequency Products has signed a global distribution agreement with Digi-Key Electronics. The IQD product line comprises of quartz crystals, clocks oscillators, VCTCXOs, TCXOs, OCXOs, GPS Disciplined OCXOs, and Rubidium oscillators.
Miniature TCXO models suited to GPS applications

Miniature TCXO enables low power
Housed in an ultra-miniature 2.0x1.6x0.8mm hermetically sealed ceramic package, IQD's IQXT-270 series of TCXOs (Temperature Compensated Crystal Oscillators), employs an analogue ASIC for the oscillator and a high order temperature compensation circuit. With a maximum current consumption of only 2.2mA, the IQXT-270 offers stabilities down to ±0.5ppm over an operating temperature range of -40 to 85°C with a clipped sinewave output.
Automotive clock oscillators meet AEC-Q200 & TS16949
IQD has launched a range of clock oscillators designed for applications that require AEC-Q200 & TS16949 automotive grade products. The latest models, housed in a ceramic seam sealed packages, are available in five different industry standard sizes, 2x1.6, 2.5x2, 3.2x2.5, 5x3.2 and 7x5mm.
Compact, low-power OCXO suits aero/mil applications
IQD's latest Oven Controlled Crystal Oscillator (OCXO), the IQOV-71 series, is housed in 4-pad plastic package with a fibre glass base measuring only 9.7x7.5mm. Despite its size, the model offers very low frequency stabilities down to ±10ppb over an operating temperature range of -20 to +70°C or ±20ppb over -40 to +85°C making it a class leader for this type of high performance device.
Clock oscillator offers low phase jitter irrespective of output
A clock oscillator that offers low phase jitter of less than 0.5ps rms, irrespective of which output is specified, has been introduced by IQD. Housed in a hermetically sealed 2.5x2.0mm ceramic six-pad package, the IQXO-931 is available in a very wide frequency range of 8MHz to 1.5GHz. The IQXO-931 is primarily designed for applications such as Ethernet, WiFi, DSL/ASDL and WiMAX/W-LAN.
Digitally compensated TCXO on display at IMS 2015
IQD’s QXT-260 series of digitally compensated TCXOs, which are housed in a small 2.0x2.5x0.8mm ceramic package, is being launched at IMS 2015. The device employs an analogue ASIC for the oscillator and a high order temperature compensation circuit that provides a smoother signal.
Clock module provides holdover capability for GPS receivers
The IQCM-300 precision clock module from IQD Frequency Products is designed to provide an easy to use holdover capability for GPS receivers. The IQCM-110 series of GPS disciplined OCXOs has been added to IQD's range of advanced oscillator modules. Being unveiled at Electronica 2014, the new design incorporates an internal GPS receiver with a 1PPS output and is housed in a 14-pin 60mm square package.
Oscillators withstand shocks up to 8,000g for 0.5ms
Withstanding shock levels of up to 8,000g for 0.5ms, ½ sine, a series of very high shock survivability oscillators has been introduced by IQD Frequency Products. The SQXO-2ATHG oscillators are suited for underground boring tools, down hole instrumentation and avionics applications including flight recorder equipment and on-board computers.

Delivering exceptional frequency stability performance at ±0.2ppb over an operating temperature range from -20 to +70°C, the IQOV-164 series oven controlled crystal oscillator (OCXO) has been unveiled by IQD Frequency Products. It can also be specified to operate over a wider temperature range from -30 to +75°C with only a minor drop in temperature stability performance at ±0.5ppb.
