Clock oscillator offers low phase jitter irrespective of output

A clock oscillator that offers low phase jitter of less than 0.5ps rms, irrespective of which output is specified, has been introduced by IQD. Housed in a hermetically sealed 2.5×2.0mm ceramic six-pad package, the IQXO-931 is available in a very wide frequency range of 8MHz to 1.5GHz. The IQXO-931 is primarily designed for applications such as Ethernet, WiFi, DSL/ASDL and WiMAX/W-LAN.

Output options available include CMOS, LVPECL or LVDS. The clock oscillator can operate at either 2.5 or 3.3V and if required an enable or disable output can be included. Operating over the industrial temperature range of -40 to +85°C, the device can be specified for all inclusive frequency stabilities down to ±30ppm over a period of 10 years. The clock oscillator is available in loose pack for sampling or tape and reel for volume.
