Processor tops charts with 5.6CoreMark/MHz per CPU

Imagination Technologies has announced that its MIPS P5600 has entered the CoreMark chart straight at the top with a record-breaking score of 5.6CoreMark/MHz per CPU, beating the previous top score held by ImgTec's own MIPS proAptiv processor. The result has been certified by EEMBC, the long-standing embedded processor benchmarking consortium that designs and maintains CoreMark.

CPU IP cores combine virtualisation and scalable performance
