Imagination Technologies has announced the IMG Series4, its next-generation neural network accelerator (NNA) for advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving. Series4 targets automotive disruptors as well as Tier 1s, original equipment manufacturer (OEMS) and automotive semiconductor system-on-chip (SoC) manufacturers.

Imagination Technologies has announces that its Imagination University Programme (IUP) is now offering a complete mobile graphics course designed to teach undergraduates how to create graphics for mobile devices. The 2020 Edition now includes support for OpenGL ES 2.0 and 3.2, and Vulkan, as well as new hardware platforms such as the Chromebook and BeagleBone Black.

RF IP enables automotive dual-mode V2X communications

Imagination Technologies has announced that its CRF4600 radio frequency RF IP has been integrated into Autotalks’ PLUTON2 RFIC transceiver, which is part of Autotalks’ solution for vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication. The IP is now in silicon and expected to be in production by 2021.
