MPU-based solution gives lift off to TSN Ethernet

TSN applications to support multiple real-time industrial Ethernet protocols have been developed by a team of EBV Elektronik, NXP Semiconductors and Fraunhofer IOSB-INA. The TSN demonstrator is based on NXP’s Layerscape LS1028A industrial applications processor, which is deployed in multiple LS1028ARDB reference design boards for the demonstrator.

WiFi Cloud-On-Chip is complete 802.11 b/g/n networking solution

IRIS ,the latest EBVchip device is a complete 802.11 b/g/n networking solution on a chip. It was developed by EBV Elektronik and DeviceDrive, a Cloud-on-Chip innovator based in Oslo. The device targets various applications like smart power plugs, home automation, mesh network gateway, industrial wireless control, sensor networks, wearable electronics, WiFi location-aware devices, security ID tags and WiFi position system beacons.

Evaluation kit targets capacitive input systems

EBV Elektronikand LNT Automation have joined forces to develop and launch their Display/Touch Evaluation Kit. The kit comprises a 7in. touch display (EVK2TI1) from LNT together with the SoCrates board from EBV. This combination enables users to build a graphical user interface with a capacitive input system quickly and easily and to test it themselves.

Java reference design targets HMI applications

EBV Elektronik has joined with embedded software solutions provide IS2T, to develop “JAKARTA”, a Java Reference Design.“JAKARTA”, is a hardware and software application platform ready for new areas of Human Machine Interfaces (HMI). With around 28KB of non-volatile memory, IS2T MicroEJ is lightweight, low cost and uses only 11 percent of the KL46 flash memory for the advantage that Java can bring to projects.
