Incorporating 4th Gen Intel Core processors, a line of COM Express products has been released by DFI with the intention of targeting intelligent system development. Included in DFI's product roll-out was the HM961, HM960 and HM920, all of which are designed on the Mobile Intel QM87 and Intel HM86 chipsets and provide SATA with RAID to increase read/write capabilities and data error consistence.  

A mini module, claimed to be both cost and energy efficient and thus suitable for industrial control automation, medical equipment, gaming machine, telecomms, POS, kiosk and transportation applications, has been released by DFI. The BT9A3 is powered by the Intel Atom processor E3800 SoC product family, which is primarily aimed at 24 hour operating intelligent systems. These SoCs range from single core, dual core and quad core.

A touch panel PC with IP65-certified front panel protection has been released by DFI. The KS230-CD, which has an Intel Atom N2800/N2600 processor with speed up to 1.86GHz, is protected from dust and water. This makes the panel suitable for applications within industries where hygiene is a priority, including food and beverage, medical, marine and chemical.

DFI launches the EC700-BT embedded system that supports the low-power and high-performance Intel Atom processor E3800. It is a perfect combination of impressive fashion design and excellent computing capability, bringing a new art concept to the industrial automation market. Aimed at Car PC application, you can replace the hard drive with a DC to DC Car PC module that supports ACC feature, and use mSATA for data storage support.

DFI launches a new Qseven module, FS700, which is powered by the latest Freescale i.MX6 processor. By combining power-efficient processing capabilities of the ARM Cortex-A9 architecture, with bleeding edge 3D and 2D graphics as well as high-definition video, the FS700 module provides a new level of multimedia performance to enable an unbounded next-generation user experience.

Accommodating any 3.5” SBCs, the ES520 compact embedded chassis has been introduced by DFI. The chassis can easily fit into any space-limited environments owing to the product's 166mm x 50mm x 157.3mm dimensions.

Powered by the Freescale i.MX6 processor, the FS700 Qseven module has been unveiled by DFI. The module provides excellent multimedia performance due to the combination of the ARM Cortex-A9 architecture with bleeding edge 3D and 2D graphics, as well as high-definition video.

Supporting the 3rd and 2nd Intel Core processors, the EC300 fanless embedded system has been introduced by DFI. The system takes full advantage of the Intel QM77 chipset which is packed with high performance I/O capabilities to provide increased mobile computing and graphics performance. 

A COM Express Compact module, designated the HU968, has been launched by DFI. Expanding upon the company's existing Intel Core product line, the U-Series platform has BGA 1168 packaging technology which features smart performance, high speed I/O, and low-power consumption at only 15W TDP. The module's mall form factor of 95mm x 95mm helps save space while providing better connectivity.

The launch of 2 Mini-ITX motherboards, the KB160 and KB161, has been announced by DFI. The two models adopt the AMD Embedded G-Series SoC platform, providing an exceptionally high-definition visual experience and delivering up to 70% overall improvement over AMD G-Series APU.

Based on the low-power and cost-efficient Intel Atom processor E3800 product family, the BT968 has been announced by DFI. This COM Express module is suited for embedded applications requiring a cost-efficient and low-power platform, such as industrial control automation, medical equipment, gaming machine, telecomms, POS, kiosk and transportation.

Aimed at applications demanding HD images, the HD310-Q87 microATX features an Intel HD Graphics engine and is powered by a 4th generation Intel Core Processor.  Based on the Intel Q87 chipset, DFI's embedded motherboard features four DDR3/DDR3L DIMM sockets that support up to 32GB.

DFI has announced an EATX form factor motherboard, the RL830-C602/C604, with the Intel C602J/C604 chipset. The board supports dual Intel Xeon E5-2600 v2 processors, which are based on 22nm process technology providing higher intelligent performance with more cost-effective and energy-efficient power consumption than previous generations.

Based on the ARM and x86 architectures, DFI’s complete line of 7” panel PCs are designed for the growing performance/wattage requirements of intelligent systems. Based on the low-power and cost-efficient ARM Cortex-A and Intel Atom processors, the panel PCs use a 4-wire Resistive/Capacitive type 7” LCD touch screen panel that has 400nits brightness and can support WVGA resolution of 800x480px.

Featuring two ISA slots for use on industrial applications that require using ISA expansion cards, DFI announces the HD620-H81 ATX embedded motherboard. Based on the Intel H81 Express chipset, the motherboard is suited for intensive applications such as gaming machines, industrial control automation, medical equipment, telecomms, kiosks, and transportation.

Expanding their portfolio of mobile-based Intel HM86 products, DFI announce the HM960-HM86 Type 6 COM Express Basic module. Supporting the latest 4th generation Intel Core processor family, the COM is suitable for applications including gaming machines, medical equipment, industrial control automation, security & surveillance, smart grid, ATM and POS.

The company's first ATX board that supports the workstation Intel C226 express chipset for high computing applications, the DL631-C226 ATX industrial motherboard has been introduced by DFI. This ATX model is supplied with LGA 1150 socket for the Intel Xeon processor E3-1200 v3 series built on 22nm process technology.

3 Mini-ITX embedded motherboards, powered by the 4th generation Intel CoreTM processor family, have been announced by DFI. Designated the HM100-Q87, HM101-QM87, and HM103-QM87, the 3 models are built on 22-nanometer process technology offering higher processing performance, superior graphics display support, and evolutionary improvements in system memory and I/O interfaces.

Powered by AMD embedded G-series SoC, the KB968 is a Type 6 COM Express Compact SBC announced by DFI. The KB968 is suitable for intelligent systems that display videos, graphics and interactive content. These applications include gaming machines, medical equipment, industrial control automation, security & surveillance, smart grid, ATM, and POS terminals.

Utilising the Intel Atom E3800 processors to provide low-power consumption with fast and high performance, the BT160 and BT161 Mini-ITX industrial motherboards have been announced. Suitable for a wide range of industrial designs, the DFI motherboards deliver excellent graphical capabilities, computing, and media as well as a built-in security engine, thanks to the sub-10-watt SoC.
