Expanding the LCM family of AC/DC power supplies, Artesyn Embedded Technologies has introduced 1000W models that provide high efficiency and reliability at a competitive cost for industrial and medical equipment. DC/DC converter offers high efficiency & thermal performance

Delivering up to 50A with a single fully regulated 12V output, a series of 600W quarter-brick isolated DC/DC converters has been unveiled by Artesyn Embedded Technologies. The ADQ600 series has an input voltage range of 40 to 60V and is primarily designed for use with standard 48V supplies in computing and server applications, as well as regulated 48V supplies in telecomms equipment.

Micro power supplies offer density of 1.40W/cm3

Artesyn Embedded Technologies has announced the first 2nd gen model of its popular MicroMP (µMP) configurable power supply series, the µMP16. With a higher maximum power output of 1800W, the µMP16 offers a power density of 1.40W/cm3 and efficiency of up to 91%, making it even more cost effective for equipment that has multiple power input requirements.

A media processing blade, which combines a powerful Intel Xeon server with a high density DSP media engine on a single AdvancedTCA (ATCA) blade, has been introduced by Artesyn Embedded Technologies. The ATCA-8330 enables network equipment providers to implement complete solutions such as session border controllers, VoLTE, video optimisation or video conferencing with less blades and therefore less cost.

The open frame devices, which have a 76.2x127mm footprint, are available in 12, 15, 24, and 48V adjustable outputs with a 5V standby output at 2A and a 12V fan output at 1A.

The AVO75 series, from Artesyn Embedded Technologies, is a range of 75W fully-regulated eighth-brick DC/DC converters that bring high efficiency and thermal performance to cost-sensitive, small space, high current and low voltage telecomms network infrastructure applications. The AVO75 series can deliver up to 25A output current and a single adjustable output between 1.2 and 12V from a 2:1 wide range input of 36-75V.

Server system can enable up to 4.0Tb/s aggregate bandwidth
