Celcite Management Solutions announced today the launch of iCOPS as part of its COPS-SON platform. iCOPS covers all technologies, including LTE, and is a powerful web enabled portal that provides wireless networks operators with a broad and intuitive view of the entire radio network.
In today's broadband data intensive mobile market, together with the introduction of LTE, operators and equipment vendors need to be able to manage and improve wireless network quality continuously and proactively with minimal or no increase in OPEX costs. Today, LTE Self-Organising Networks (LTE-SON) technology is still in a nascent stage and does not completely retrofit to 2G and 3G technologies in a multi-vendor environment, so solutions such as iCOPS and COPS-SON have become critical to complete the missing link.

iCOPS and COPS-SON use Celcite's proprietary Automatic Intelligent Correlation (AICTM) engine that enables a wireless network operator's national, regional and other network executives to view the root cause for the worst performing network elements, analyse multiple network issues, and separate RF from operational issues automatically.

Executives can access the tablet-friendly interactive dashboards via a single web portal at any time and on-the-go, said Rahul Sharma, CEO of Celcite. This allows them to obtain an instantaneous snapshot of the health of the networks in all the regions and markets they cover, saving time in identifying, tracking and trending. The root cause analysis of poorly performing networks and the intelligent correlation of issues allows them to apply corrective actions rapidly and accurately, thus minimising OPEX and improving customer experience.

Celcite will be exhibiting at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, on Stand 2B13 in Hall 2
