Toshiba introduces quad-channel digital isolators
Toshiba Electronics Europe has expanded its standard digital isolator line-up with the DCL54xx01A series, comprising ten quad-channel devices that support data rates of up to 150Mbps and operate at temperatures up to 125°C. Littelfuse has announced the TPSMD-FL Series FlatSuppressX TVS Diodes, a new family of automotive-grade transient voltage suppression devices designed to simplify ISO 7637-2 Pulse 5b load-dump protection for 12V vehicle electronics.
Unlike conventional TVS diodes that can allow transient voltages to rise to levels requiring additional protection circuitry, the TPSMD-FL Series leverages proprietary FlatSuppressX technology to maintain a low, flat, and stable clamping voltage profile during high-energy transient events. ROHM’s new 2nd generation Terahertz wave oscillation device
ROHM has developed a 2nd Generation terahertz wave oscillation device using semiconductor elements known as Resonant Tunneling Diodes (RTDs). ROHM is making the device available via the RTD-EVK-G2 Terahertz Wave Device Evaluation Kit, which includes a sample device, cable, and evaluation board. STMicroelectronics’ new galvanically isolated gate drivers simplify power design
STMicroelectronics has extended the STGAP3S family of gate drivers that feature enhanced galvanic isolation for greater reliability, introducing an efficient and economical 3A series for circuits that need lower drive current. The new STGAP3S3S is optimised for silicon carbide (SiC) MOSFETs, while the STGAP3S3IF is suited to IGBTs.
All STGAP3S drivers work with high-voltage rails up to 1200V in circuits such as power-factor correction (PFC), power supply units, DC/DC converters, and inverters. (Read more.)
