Ismosys has signed a rep-stocking deal with analogue mixed-signal IC house, ZMDi (Zentrum Mikroelektronik Dresden) covering the key European territories of UK, Nordic, Italy, Iberia, Turkey, Israel and Benelux.
Founded in 1961, ZMDi specialises in the design and marketing of high temperature, high voltage and ultra low power application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs) and application-specific standard products (ASSPs). Its advanced circuit-design expertise allow it to offer ICs with operating temperatures as high as +160degC, and voltages from as low as 0.85V up to 40V.

Comments David Thomas, Ismosys’ director of Strategic Business Development: “ZMDi is very active in the automotive market, but we are targeting other applications in white goods, mobile medical appliances and industrial automation where their innovative, robust, high precision and cost-effective silicon solutions for energy efficient applications will be highly suitable.”

We are glad to enter this cooperation with the leading edge Pan-European semiconductor & technology partner” states Carlo Rebughini, ZMDI’s Worldwide Sales and Marketing Vice President. He adds: Ismosys, with its extensive experience in design-to-product-production support is uniquely qualified to market ZMDI's standard products to a broader customer base increasing our market penetration.”
