Z-Communications has announced a RoHS compliant VCO (Voltage-Controlled Oscillator) model ZRO1920A1LF in L-band. The ZRO1920A1LF operates at 1920MHz with a tuning voltage range of 0.5-4.5 Vdc. This VCO features a typical phase noise of -117 dBc/Hz @ 10 KHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 5 MHz/V.
The ZRO1920A1LFis designed to deliver a typical output power of 2.5 dBm at 5 Vdc supply while drawing 25 mA (typical) over the temperature range of -40º to 85º C. This VCO features typical second harmonic suppression of -25 dBc and comes in Z-Comm's standard MINI-16-SM package measuring 0.5 in. x 0.5 in. x 0.22 in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements. The ZRO1920A1LF is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.

ZRO1920A1LF is well suited for satellite communication and fixed wireless applications that require ultra low phase noise performance.
