Avago Technologies Introduces High-Brightness Warm White Through-Hole LEDs for Solid-State Lighting and Illumination Applications
Avago Technologies today announced a new series of high-brightness warm white through-hole (TH) LEDs in a 5mm round package for use in a wide range of solid-state lighting and illumination applications. Available in a several packaging options, Avago's HLMP-CYxx TH LEDs target designers of retail and commercial display lighting, as well as street and portable lighting applications.

Avago Technologies Announces Industry's First Half-Watt Power LEDs for Interior/Exterior Lighting and Backlighting Applications
Avago Technologies today introduced the industry's first half-watt (0.5-W) high-brightness light-emitting diodes (LED) in an industry-standard PLCC-4 surface-mount (SMT) package. These new 0.5-W Power LEDs, which are available in white, amber, red-orange and red colors, feature the industry's smallest package size, a wide 120-degree viewing angle, and are optimized for long operating life under severe environmental conditions.

Transmissive Micro-Reflectivity enhancement film provides the 3.5 inch 320x240 (QVGA) display with excellent viewability under all lighting conditions, both indoor, outdoor and in sunlight.
