Synopsys acquires WinterLogic

Synopsys has acquired WinterLogic, the technology leader in fault simulation used in automotive, safety and security environments for the design and verification of advanced SoCs. Fault simulation is a key technology for compliance testing of the ISO 26262 functional safety standard and its ASIL classification. The addition of WinterLogic’s leading fault simulation capability extends Synopsys’ large and growing solutions for safety and security in the areas of functional verification, hardware-software verification, software quality, cyber security and automotive grade IP.
