The new MTS4EAV7 HEVC Elementary Stream Analyzer is an upgrade to its industry-leading MTS4EA MPEG-2 and AVC/H.264 Video and Audio Analyzer. The upgrade adds support for the new High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC)/H.265 standard.

MTS4EAV7’s deep dive Elementary Stream analysis capabilities, coupled with HEVC support, enable designers and manufacturers of hardware and software video encoders, decoders, and mobile video devices to develop next-generation video products for HD mobile video, over-the-top (OTT) video and Ultra HD (4K) broadcast applications which adopt the new HEVC technology.

By supporting all key legacy and next-generation broadcast video standards (MPEG-2, AVC/H.264 and HEVC/H.265), customers only need to purchase a single product to serve all their development and diagnostic needs. Existing MTS4EA family customers can simply purchase a software upgrade to add the new HEVC support.

MTS4EAV7 offers unparalleled depth and breadth of analysis, which is required to enable customers to optimize HEVC encoder efficiency and quality of encoded pictures. The product functionality is ideal for research and development environments where rapid problem identification and diagnosis is essential for minimizing development costs and reducing time to market. For content distributors MTS4EAV7 can be used to test the compliance, interoperability and performance of products adopting HEVC technology.
