The Accordance ARAID is a drop-in backup solution that does not need additional software or hardware to use. The ARAID utilizes two hard drives to maintain data and system images on two drives at all times. In the event of a hard disk failure, a system doesn’t crash and continues running uninterrupted on the surviving drive. Accordance ARAID reports the disk failure so users can replace the bad drive without having to shut the system down.
“The Accordance ARAID is an easy to deploy storage device to protect and backup hard disk data, says Kevin Jaskolka, Marketing Manager for Seneca Data. “We are pleased to offer ARAID products as stand alone units or integrated into Seneca Data’s line of custom built Servers.
The Accordance ARAID uses the PC’s existing SATA drive and dynamically creates a RAID1 array with an added drive. The ARAID automatically builds and maintains redundant copies on two drives. The device appears as a single hard drive to the system, but simultaneously writes to drives providing redundant copies of system and application data.
“We are excited to have our ARAID products available for individual purchase at Seneca Data, said Steve Johnson, President of Accordance Systems USA. “Customers can easily acquire an ARAID as a standalone unit or integrate it into a custom built Seneca Data servers.”
