Simplify high-frequency interconnect with 2.92mm to SMPM adapters Simplify high-frequency interconnect with 2.92mm to SMPM adapters

Amphenol RF expands its precision adapter portfolio with 2.92mm to SMPM solutions designed to support reliable high-frequency transitions between precision test interfaces and compact RF systems.

Amphenol RF is pleased to announce the expansion of our 2.92 mm adapter series with between-series SMPM configurations engineered for applications requiring dependable performance up to 40GHz. These new adapters are available in plug and jack versions and allow for a seamless transition between rugged precision test equipment and compact SMPM-based RF systems. 2.92mm to SMPM adapters are ideal for microwave, high-frequency test and system integration applications where signal integrity and repeatability are critical.

Designed for high-frequency test environments and space-constrained RF architectures, these adapters feature a durable threaded 2.92mm interface paired with a compact SMPM connection suitable for high-density layouts. They provide excellent electrical performance up to 40GHz and help to minimise signal reflections. These 2.92mm adapters are constructed with passivated stainless-steel bodies and gold-plated beryllium copper contacts in order to provide durability, corrosion resistance and reliable conductivity for laboratory, production and system integration environments.

These 2.92mm to SMPM adapters join a growing portfolio of precision interconnect solutions that support microwave test instrumentation, aerospace and defence systems, radar and SATCOM platforms, 5G communications infrastructure and advanced RF development applications.
