Brynleigh Technology of Heybridge near Maldon in Essex has announced an enhanced service for the assembly of complex SMT boards. New software developed in-house will allow the company to offer a faster and more flexible service.
The bespoke software has integrated all aspects of Brynleigh’s operations. Job data is entered just once and transferred electronically to minimise human error and, particularly relevant to prototype assembly, reduces set-up times. It means Brynleigh Technology’s new Europlacer Finesse 2 assembler can, with the new software, be programmed even more quickly. This delivers a short run of fast-turnaround prototypes yet can still achieve its potential of 12,500 components per hour with an exceptionally high first-time pass rate on extended runs.

Brynleigh Technology Managing Director and Founder Maurice Apthorp said: “We have invested in technical development to provide our customers with the benefits expected of a high-quality volume assembler but at the same time retaining the personal service associated with a small company.

“Our advanced, and completely unique, software is integrated with the latest flexible manufacturing machines to provide the highest-quality assembly.”
