Aqueous Technologies and Zestron to Hold Workshop on Cleaning Electronic Assemblies

Aqueous Technologies Corp. and Zestron announce that registration is now open for the one-day technical workshop titled “Why Clean Electronic Assemblies” that will take place Wednesday, March 2 and Thursday, March 3, 2011 at ACI Technologies, Inc.’s facility in Philadelphia. The same workshop will be held on two consecutive days from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
The free workshop will introduce the most important key elements needed for a successful PCB cleaning process and discuss cleaning agent technologies, as well as equipment available in the industry. Additionally, speakers will review different process control tools and methodologies as well as various types of flux residues and the challenges they pose. Hands-on demonstrations will complete the one-day seminar.

The workshop will address industry trends, residues and contamination, and board failure mechanisms for cleaning. Speakers will discuss options in cleaning, including cleaning agent technologies, cleaning equipment, and process control and cleanliness analysis.
