7Layers US is now a Sprint approved test lab for LTE network conformance testing and certification

7Layers is proud to announce that its laboratory in Irvine, California has been selected as a “Sprint Approved Test Lab” to test devices against Sprint’s 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) network conformance and performance requirements. 7Layers now can work with manufactures of mobile devices to achieve meeting the operational requirements for Sprint’s 4G LTE network.

7Layers offers state-of-the-art lab facilities and engineering expertise to help reduce time to market for device manufactures aiming to release devices for Sprint’s LTE network.

7Layers has been at the forefront of LTE device validation requirements, as the first test house group to achieve full global coverage with PTCRB accredited laboratories for LTE in North America, Europe and Asia. Being a Sprint Approved Test Lab shows 7Layers’ continued efforts to be at the forefront of LTE-enabled device testing and certification.

Device manufactures as well as Sprint itself can rely on 7Layers’ experience with the LTE technology and wireless device testing capabilities to efficiently support qualification for Sprint’s 4G LTE network requirements. Sprint has been an innovator with 4G since first launching the technology in 2008. Sprint continues to heavily invest in its network and expand 4G LTE coverage in the US.

“Sprint is an innovative, top-tier mobile network, working to provide 4G LTE mobile services to its customers,” asserted David Bissonette, Chief Executive Officer of 7Layers Inc. “We are proud to offer our wireless testing expertise to device manufactures and help ensure specific network operation standards for Sprint. Our company is committed to providing LTE certification services and helping mobile device manufactures meet network operation requirements and hasten the device approval process.”
