TRACO POWER has announced the release of their THM 30 family of medical 30W DC/DC converters with wide 2:1 input range in the industry standard 1x2” footprint. The THM 30 Series are a reliable solution not only for medical equipment but also for demanding ITE applications such as transportation, control and measurement or IGBT drivers.

  TRACO POWER has announced the new TSR 2 series of step-down switching regulators that are drop-in replacement for inefficient LMxx linear regulators. A high efficiency up to 96% allows full load operation up to +67°C ambient temperature (full-load) without any heat-sink or forced cooling.

TRACO POWER has announced the release of their TRN 3 family of isolated and fully regulated high performance DC/DC converter modules that cover a wide range of low power applications where space is limited. The TRN 3 series feature wide 2:1 input ranges, a full load -40 to +65°C operating temperature range and are available in compact SIP or SMD packages (suffix SM).

  TRACO POWER has announced the release of its TVN 3 family of 3W low noise DC/DC converters in a compact SIP-8 package measuring only 0.86x0.38x0.44”. Maximum output ripple of 15mV pk-pk or down to 10mV pk-pk with a 10µF capacitor make these suitable for pro-audio, test equipment and applications that are noise sensitive.

TRACO POWER has announced the release of their TEQ 40WIR family of isolated, high performance DC/DC converter modules with ultra-wide 4:1 input voltage ranges and come in a rugged metal case. These 40 watt DC/DC converters are design for railway, transit and industrial environments featuring a full load / convection-cooled operating temperature range of -40°C to 83°C (up to 92°C with derating).

The release of the TPP15 family has been announced by TRACO POWER, as miniaturised, open-frame power supplies with an extended operating temperature range of -40 to 85°C and both Industrial and Medical safety approvals. These 15W AC/DC power supplies feature reinforced insulation with I/O isolation of 4,000 VAC, are 2 X MOPP compliant with leakage current below 75µA and are suitable for Medical Type BF (body floating) applications.

The converters offer increased resistance against electromagnetic interference, shock/vibration and thermal shock with EN 50155 and EN 61373 compliance making them suitable for railway, transportation and harsh industrial environments.

TRACO POWER has announced the release of their THN 15WIR family of ruggedised DC/DC converters designed for harsh environments in a miniature 1 x 1 x 0.40” footprint. The converters offer increased resistance against electromagnetic interference, shock/vibration and thermal shock with EN 50155 and EN 61373 compliance making them ideal for harsh industrial environments, railway and transportation systems.

Traco Power has released the TIB family of DIN-rail power supplies that are claimed to feature industry-leading efficiencies up to 94.5%.

A range of miniaturised DC/DC converters has been released by TRACO POWER. The TDN-WI family measures 0.52x0.36x0.40” with a wide 4-to-1 input range and 1,600VDC Isolation. The company claims that the 5W models offer the world’s highest power density.

Power Sources Unlimited announces the addition of the new TMF Series of 5-30 W AC/DC power supplies that are designed and manufactured to comply with the rigorous requirements for quality, reliability and safety for today’s medical equipment. All units are approved to IEC/EN/ES 60601-1 Edition 3.1 for 2x MOPP (Means Of Patient Protection) and come with an ISO 14971 risk management file.

At this year’s show, Traco Power will be showing its range of products. The company offers the TPP 40 and TPP 65 series of 40 and 65W AC/DC power supplies, which are extended by multi-output models and models in open frame format with pin connectors.

  To provide increased service levels to a growing customer base throughout not only the USA but also Canada and Mexico, TRACO Power North America opened a Silicon Valley office on 1st August 2016.
