Swissbit has announced that it is strengthening its range of industrial-grade storage media with two new product ranges featuring SATA III interfaces. The X-86m2 series in the ultra-compact M.2 2242 form factor, and the CFast card F-86, show off their full performance capabilities, especially as robust boot and application drives, and set themselves apart with a coordinated feature set.

In response to the rising demand for robust boot drives and removable data storage in the proven CFast form factor, Swissbit has launched its latest memory card F-800 product series. Featuring high-quality SLC-NAND flash memory chips and the very latest controller firmware, F-800 offers maximum performance, durability, and reliability as memory for embedded systems and industrial applications.

Swissbit has announced that it has extended the availability of its SLC-based SD memory cards, microSD memory cards and CompactFlash cards. The new product series S-250(u) and C-350 deploy the same product architecture as the previous S-200(u) and C-300 products.

Swissbit has extended its renowned range of industrial SD memory cards with purposeful new products: the S-50 and S-56 series. Based on industrial grade 3D NAND technology, the new products integrate flash chips with a powerful controller and high-end firmware, which is aimed at delivering high reliability within a robust housing. They are manufactured in Swissbit’s own IATF 16949 certified fab.

Swissbit has launched EN-20, a new single chip solution which offers high speed PCIe SSD performance in a 3.2cm² BGA SDD package. The device acts as a true industrial grade SSD with up to 480GB capacity and 4 lane PCIe 3.1 / NVMe 1.3 specification.

Swissbit has launched a solution for the encryption and access protection of data on a Raspberry Pi to secure the boot image and the boot process. Swissbit Secure Boot Solution for Raspberry Pi consists of a PS-45u-DP-microSD card ‘Raspberry Edition’ and a software development kit.

The Swissbit management team and Ardian have announced that they have signed an agreement to acquire Swissbit based in Bronschhofen, Switzerland. The company is a leading global manufacturer of storage and embedded IoT solutions with its own production facilities in Germany.
