The first & only long-term stable metal-oxide gas sensor
At this year’s Sensor+Test 2017 in Nuremberg (May 30 – June 1), Sensirion AG introduces the SGP - the first and only long-term stable metal-oxide gas sensor. The SGP gas sensor is based on Sensirion’s multi-pixel platform, which integrates four gas sensing elements into a very small 2.45 x 2.45 x 0.9 mm3 DFN package featuring a fully calibrated air quality output signal.
Differential pressure sensors combine accuracy, stability & functionality
Sensirion presents differential pressure sensors from its SDP800 series. The sensor is the result of more than 15 years of experience in measuring air flow to millions of HVAC systems, car engines and patients. They consequently utilize the successful features of the SDP600 differential pressure sensor and come in the same proven housing, which enables easy integration.
Extension board enables development of on/off body detection
Sensirion has presented its SHTW2 Xplained Pro Dual Humidity and Temperature Extension Board for Atmel’s SAMD20 Xplained Pro Board. The extension board comes with two SHTW2 humidity and temperature sensors, enabling the development of new applications such as on/off body detection.
EVK with flow element enables simple test measurements of SDP3x differential pressure sensors
Sensirion presents the advanced EK-P4 evaluation kit, which simplifies the evaluation of Sensirion’s differential pressure sensors even further. The kit combines all the features required for test measurement, including a flow element, so first measurements can be made cost-effectively and exceptionally quickly.
A miniaturised smart drug delivery module
At this year’s COMPAMED trade fair, the sensor manufacturer Sensirion and the Fraunhofer Research Institution for Microsystems and Solid State Technologies (EMFT) will be presenting an innovative concept study in the field of medical technology. Fraunhofer EMFT’s silicon micropump has been combined with Sensirion’s LD20 single-use liquid flow sensor as part of a joint project with the aim of developing a smart and cost-effi...
Filter membrane protects sensor from water and dust
Manufacturer of humidity, temperature and flow sensor solutions, Sensirion, offers an on-package filter membrane option for selected humidity sensors in the SHT3x series. The SHT3x membrane is a PTFE film that protects the sensor opening from water and dust according to IP67.

At this year’s electronica 2016 (8th to 11th November), Sensirion will exhibit sensor solutions for measurement of humidity and temperature, differential pressure, as well as gas and liquid flow. Learn more about Sensirion’s forthcoming environmental sensor solutions at booth 206 in hall B1.
Sensors Expo hosts innovative smart sensor portfolio
Sensirion is known for innovative products, customised solutions and excellent support. At this year’s edition of Sensors Expo, the company will exhibit new and refined sensor solutions for measuring humidity and temperature, differential pressure, gas and liquid flow. Visit Sensirion's booth 423 and learn more about its latest smart sensor solutions. Among other things, you can learn more about the products illustrated here:
Digital humidity sensor meets tight power budgets
Sensirion presents its second generation WLCSP humidity sensor: the SHTW2. The SHTW2 humidity sensor comes in a flip chip package – an established technology that represents one of the simplest and smallest possible ways of packaging a semiconductor chip and results in a tiny footprint of 1.3x0.7x0.5mm. The SHTW2 also pioneers a new category of ultra-small humidity sensors suitable for applications with the tightest space constraints.
Differential pressure sensor features I²C address selection
Extending the scope of application possibilities in the medical technology and consumer goods industries, Sensirion expands its SDP3x series. The differential pressure sensors now offer an extended measurement range and additional features, such as I2C address selection.
Accurate digital humidity sensor at Sensor+Test
Sensirion is once again taking sensor technology to a new level. At Sensor+Test 2016 in Nuremberg, the technology pioneer is presenting the SHT35 humidity sensor – the most accurate sensor of the versatile SHT3x series. As the market leader, Sensirion is launching an innovation that outperforms all similar sensors currently available.
Sensirion’s gas meter modules achieve an evaluation certification
The gas meter modules from Sensirion have achieved an evaluation certification in accordance with the harmonized standards EN 14236 and OIML R 137 for natural gas, type H. The evaluation certificate is issued by NMi, one of the leading notified bodies in Europe for type approval examination and certification of measuring instruments. This evaluation certificate makes it easier and faster for gas meter manufacturers to obtain MID approval for gas ...
