For integration into high performance digital microwave SoCs, 64GS/s ADC and DAC cores with IBM's 32nm Silicon On Insulator (SOI) technology are now available from Semtech. By integrating the ADCs and DACs with the SoCs, which feature digitally programmable poly-phase filtering and interpolation techniques, wide bandwidths can be digitally processed.

LoRa, long range RF technology manufactured by Semtech, has been selected by Microchip Technology for use in the development of solutions for IoT and M2M. This technology enables long range, low power connectivity that previously had been unrealisable. Competing short-range technology requires too many repeaters and too much infrastructure to achieve wide coverage.
