Polymer aluminium solid capacitors offer high ripple current

  A new series of smoothing capacitors featuring a high ripple current of 5.8A and enabling miniaturisation of switching power supplies has been introduced by Panasonic Industry Europe. The SEPG series of radial lead type conductive polymer aluminium solid capacitors also benefits from low ESR values of maximum 10mΩ and stable characteristics at a wide temperature range from -55 up to 105°C.

LiDAR sensor enables 3D detection of distances

  A 3D LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) sensor equipment that measures distance between the equipment and the object from the round-trip travelling time of the pulse laser that is projected to the object has been developed by Panasonic. The sensor accurately measures the direction of and distance to objects with a wide angle of view, which is critical for autonomous operation of mobile robots.

Next-gen Bluetooth module enables advanced wireless connectivity

Featuring what the company claims to be the industry's lowest power Bluetooth Low Energy SoC, the next-gen Bluetooth module from Panasonic has been introduced. The PAN1760A module benefits from a peak power consumption of only 3.3mA in Tx and Rx mode, enabling advanced wireless functionalities in IoT, medical, and industrial applications without compromising battery life.
