Polymer aluminium solid capacitors offer high ripple current
A new series of smoothing capacitors featuring a high ripple current of 5.8A and enabling miniaturisation of switching power supplies has been introduced by Panasonic Industry Europe. The SEPG series of radial lead type conductive polymer aluminium solid capacitors also benefits from low ESR values of maximum 10mΩ and stable characteristics at a wide temperature range from -55 up to 105°C.
SEPG series components have a long operating life span, moisture resistance, and are fully RoHS compliant and halogen free.
Andreas Lapucha, Product Marketing Manager Capacitors at Panasonic said: “Thanks to their excellent moisture resistance our new SEPG series capacitors are well suited for use in outdoor applications like base stations, security cameras, and PV inverters.
"They are also well suited for use in electronic meters, industrial displays, and server/data centres.”
