1.8V high-speed DUARTS

DT Electronics has made available Exar's family of dual universal asynchronous receiver transmitters (DUARTS) that operate from a 1.62V to 3.63V supply and feature 16, 32 or 64-byte FIFOs. Designated the M-series, each channel of these devices is capable of data rates up to 16 MBps at 3.3V with a 4X sampling clock.

Development kit for 32-bit MCU/DSP packs 3x processing power into every clock cycle

DT Electronics announces the STK1000 development kit for Atmel’s AT32AP700 MCU/DSP chip. The new device, based on the AVR-32 32-bit architecture, is said to execute 3x the processing power per clock cycle of its nearest competitor so that compute intensive algorithms can be executed at lower clock speeds and hence lower power.

Multi-channel optical switches with only 1.5dB insertion loss

Pin-compatible replacement for obsolete Fairchild TMC2242 filter

DT Electronics has made available the Logic Devices LF2242 digital filter as a direct replacement for the Fairchild TMC2242 which is now obsolete. The LF2242 is a 12/16-bit half-band interpolating/decimating digital filter that eliminates the tuning needed with analogue filters.
