DC/DC converters provide 94% efficiency

Murata has expanded its OKD series of Digital PoL DC/DC converters by launching the 90A/162W OKDx-T/90 series from Murata Power Solutions. This is the highest current-rated product in the OKD series, which already provides solutions from 6-60A. The OKDx-T/90 series is suited for FPGA and processor applications.

Murata to exhibit cutting-edge tech at CeBIT 2017

Murata will exhibit at CeBIT, the world’s largest trade show for IT solutions from March 20-24 2017. The event, which will take place at the Hannover Exhibition Grounds, Hannover, Germany is expected to see 200,000 visitors through the doors. Booths from 3,300 companies from 70 countries will showcase business fields such as the Internet of Things, big data, cloud computing, and security.

Murata has introduced the DMH series which it claims to be the world's lowest profile supercapacitor. The product is designed for peak power assist duties in wearable applications and various other devices. Murata’s DMHA14R5V353M4ATA0 supercapacitor has a low profile design and at 0.4mm thick it is suitable for use in the thinnest devices. Its footprint is 20x20mm.

PoL converters provide advanced power conversion management

A module has been added to Murata Power Solutions' OKD family of digitally controlled Point of Load (PoL) DC/DC converters, the 60A, 95% efficient OKDL-T/60-W12. The OKDL-T/60 power module is suited for FPGA and processor applications. The module is specified to operate over a Vin range of 4.5-14VDC, and provides a user adjustable output in the range of 0.6-1.8VDC with an efficiency of 94.9%.

Compact LPWAN wireless module supports LoRaWAN
