Small NBIoT module with stretched battery life

Murata has announced what is believed to be the world’s smallest narrow-band IoT (NBIoT) cellular wireless module. The LBAD0ZZ1RX measures just 15.6x14.0x2.2mm, is fabricated on a PCB with a metal casing, and is designed for use in compact, battery powered IoT/IIoT applications.

Murata capacitor designed for high voltage industrial applications

Murata has announced the DE1 Type RB series of X1 class leaded ceramic safety capacitors. Suitable for use in high voltage industrial applications such as 3-phase power supplies or inverters driving 3-phase motors, the series is rated at 760VAC (RMS) for X1 class use. The DE1 complies with the internationally recognised standards IEC 60384-14, UL60384-14 and EN60384-14 for X1 / Y1 class capacitors used in EMI suppression circuits.

Module provides BLE connectivity between tablets and cloud services

  A Nordic-based BLE module has been released by Murata. The latest MBN52832 device consists of Nordic Semiconductor’s nRF52832 IC, a 32MHz crystal for timing, and an on-board antenna. Additionally, it contains pins for an off-board omni-directional antenna and a NFC antenna. The module provides a Serial Port Interface (SPI) and UART interface to Nordic’s nRF52832 ARM Cortex M4 processor.

Chip ferrite beads suppress power line noise in automobiles

Murata has announced the BLM31KN_BH series of chip ferrite beads for use in automotive powertrain safety applications with a high, guaranteed temperature capability of 150ºC.
