Mouser Electronics has agreed a global distribution deal with Quantic X-Microwave, producers of modular electronics for prototyping and developing RF and microwave products.

Originally developed at Xerox PARC in the 1970s, Ethernet has come a long way since its ratification as the IEEE 802.3 standard in 1983. It has evolved to support increasingly faster networks, more nodes, and longer distances while retaining backward compatibility with previous versions.

Capable of achieving 60A of continuous current per contact with a durability of 250 mating cycles, and a maximum voltage rating of 3kV. The 6-finger beryllium copper and gold-plated contacts are individually shrouded on both male and female connectors to prevent physical damage and avoid accidental touching.
