Embedded interface provides industrial network communication

The Anybus CompactCom 40-series family from HMS Industrial Networks has been extended with a version that enables any automation device to communicate on CC-Link IE Field. This means that HMS now offers both embedded and stand-alone gateway solutions for any CC-Link-related communication issue, including CC-Link IE Field.

Bolt connects devices wirelessly

A wireless access point, ‘The Anybus Wireless Bolt’ has been introduced by HMS Industrial Networks, designed to be mounted on a machine or cabinet to give it wireless access via WLAN, Bluetooth or Bluetooth Low Energy. This access makes it possible to do configuration via a regular tablet or smartphone or connect to a cloud service, realising Industrial IoT.

COM adds fast connection to industrial devices

The Anybus CompactCom 40-series provides industrial devices with multi-network connectivity with a specific focus on industrial Ethernet. Suitable for high-end industrial applications with high performance demands, the units are available in chip, brick and module formats. The 40-series solution for PROFINET enables fast communication between the host device and PROFINET, and supports PROFINET RT Class 1 and 3.

PCIe card supports all leading industrial Ethernet standards

Until now, it has been complicated to develop PC-based measurement, visualisation or service applications for several Industrial Ethernet standards, since each protocol uses different interface cards and application programming interfaces. HMS Industrial Networks says its IXXAT INpact is the solution to this, offering a PCIe card in standard and low-profile formats which supports all leading industrial Ethernet standards.

HMS ships three millionth Anybus module to Bosch Rexroth

Used mainly to connect welding and tightening controllers to the various control systems used in automation technology, HMS Industrial Networks announces that it has shipped its three millionth Anybus module to Bosch Rexroth. Providing multi-network connectivity for the major network standards, Anybus embedded products are interchangeable communications modules for different fieldbus and industrial Ethernet networks.

CAN cards are modularly expandable with four interfaces

CAN cards designed for the PCI bus, which are modularly expandable with up to four CAN interfaces and offered with driver and tool suite support, have been released by HMS. The CAN-IB300/PCI and CAN-IB400/PCI expand the company’s IXXAT CAN-IB series, which is suitable for both industrial and automotive applications.

Multi-network connectivity for industrial devices

Anybus CompactCom with M12 connectors enables network access

HMS Industrial Networks has released a series of Anybus CompactCom modules equipped with M12 connectors. This enables network connectivity for machinery which operates in wet, dusty, or otherwise demanding industrial environments. Networks are initially PROFIBUS, PROFINET, DeviceNet, EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP and EtherCAT.

New Anybus CompactCom Modbus TCP 2-port module eliminates external switches

The new 2-port version of Anybus CompactCom for Modbus TCP is not only a fast and easy way for industrial device manufacturers to achieve connectivity to Modbus TCP.
