Communication between factory floor networks and IT-systems
A new range of Anybus .NET Bridges for PROFIBUS, PROFINET, EtherCAT and EtherNet/IP has been introduced by HMS Industrial Networks. Bridging the gap between Operational Technology (OT) and IT, the .NET bridge family enables data from industrial machinery to be presented to .NET-based IT applications. The result is that .NET programmers can build a PC program which exchanges live data with a PLC system — for statistics, analysis or maintenan...
Connecting devices wirelessly
Two new Anybus WLAN Access Points have been introduced by HMS Industrial Networks as industrial-grade infrastructure hubs for long range Wireless LAN connectivity. The products are suitable for collecting data wirelessly from any machinery or system, especially those equipped with Anybus Wireless Bolt or Bridge The Anybus Wireless LAN (Local Area Network) Access Points allow users to set up an industrial wireless infrastructure for multiple wirel...
The smallest PC-interface for Industrial Ethernet
HMS Industrial Networks now adds the M.2 format to the IXXAT INpact PC-card range. The result is the smallest PC-interface for Industrial Ethernet and Profibus on the market. With the new IXXAT INpact M.2 interfaces, users can implement PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT, Modbus-TCP, Powerlink and PROFIBUS slave connectivity with the smallest footprint.
Anybus X-gateways offer connectivity to Ethernet POWERLINK
Ethernet POWERLINK becomes the 17th industrial network to be included in the Anybus X-gateway offering. The new gateways enable system integrators and machine builders to connect POWERLINK-systems to any other fieldbus or industrial Ethernet network. Ethernet POWERLINK is an industrial Ethernet network originating from the Austrian automation company B+R, established as a leading network for machine building and system integration around the worl...
eWON Flexy supports MQTT for data acquisition
The IIoT gateway, eWON Flexy from HMS Industrial Networks now supports Message Queue Telemetry Transport (MQTT) protocol - a simple and lightweight messaging protocol aimed at minimising network traffic and device resource requirements. This includes all models including the new Flexy 205.
The IIoT gateway for machine builders
The release of an advanced IIoT Gateway and Remote Access router, has been announced HMS Industrial Networks, the eWON Flexy205. The eWON Flexy 205 is a versatile Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) gateway and remote access router designed for machine builders. In addition to VPN remote access with eWON Talk2M remote connectivity services, it allows you to enable alarm notifications, machine data reading, historical logging in order to mon...
Secure remote access for industrial machines for dummies
The release of new book; ‘Secure Remote Access for Industrial Machines for Dummies’ has been announced by HMS Industrial Networks, as an eWON special edition. After-sales service and support for industrial machines are costly and time-consuming. Experienced engineers and technicians travel to customer sites to diagnose issues, answer questions, provide training, and resolve problems.
Anybus CompactCom supports IoT technologies
Support for IoT protocols OPC UA and MQTT is now offered from HMS Industrial Networks, within the Anybus CompactCom range of embedded networking solutions. With OPC UA and MQTT in the portfolio, device and machine manufacturers who use CompactCom are offered a straight-forward path to providing secure data to the IIoT factories of tomorrow - already today.
Disinfection robot has robust wireless access
A disinfection robot has been introduced from the Danish company INFUSER, as the STERISAFE-Pro. It disinfects surfaces in any given room - for example patient rooms, operating theatres or hotel rooms - removing up to 99,9999% of pathogens. The robot fills the designated room with an Ozone-based biocide agent which kills unwanted bacteria, viruses and fungi, while purifying the air from small particulate matter in the air.
Smart Grid connectivity made easy with SG-gateways
New IXXAT SG-gateways from HMS Industrial Networks enable data exchange between infrastructure and energy networks based on IEC61850 or IEC60870-5-104, and common fieldbus and industrial Ethernet systems. While industrial communication between devices and systems is typically done with fieldbus and industrial Ethernet, modern infrastructure and energy networks are based upon other protocol standards such as IEC61850 and IEC60870-5-104.
EtherNet/IP to PROFIBUS DP linking device connects devices on PROFIBUS
Releasing its third product in their EtherNet/IP Linking Devices family is communication specialist HMS Industrial Networks. The new EtherNet/IP to PROFIBUS DP Linking Device allows users to connect devices on PROFIBUS to a Rockwell ControlLogix or CompactLogix.
