Binder M12 Connectors With Offset Soldering Levels

Binder has introduced a new 12-pole version of its M12 connectors that incorporates offset soldering levels.  The three inner contacts are raised making soldering of terminations far easier and less time consuming thus reducing production and maintenance costs.

New Binder M12 connector cable is resistant to weld sparks

Binder has introduced new UL-listed M12 connectors with moulded cables that incorporate a hard wearing and impact resistant PUR jacketed cable that is resistant to welding sparks. Designed primarily for robotic welding equipment, the new PUR cable replaces the traditional irradiated cross-linked cables that are not recyclable and therefore present disposal difficulties.

Binder M16 Connectors Now Available with Crimp Termination

Binder M8 range extended to include 8-pole versions

Binder series 768 and 718 M8 connectors have been enhanced with the introduction of new 8-pole panel-mount versions that have been incorporated in the standard connector bodies that previously could only accommodate 3, 4 and 6 poles.

New Binder M12 power connectors with S and T coding

The Binder range of M12 power connectors has been extended with the addition of new four-pole versions that have M12-S and M12-T coding. M12-S coding is typically used for power applications on AC motors where large M23 metal connectors are usually used while M12-T coding is used for DC power supplies in structured networks where large circular 7/8in, M23, RD24 or rectangular connectors are commonly used.

Binder to supply cut lengths of cable

Binder has responded to increasing customer demand by supplying cut lengths of the same high quality cable as is used in the production of its own moulded connector/cable combinations. This allows customers to use the same PUR and PVC cables for terminating Binder’s extensive range of field-attachable connectors as are used on the pre-terminated over-moulded cables.

Binder M8 angled connectors now with screw termination

The widely used range of Binder M8 connectors has been enhanced with the introduction of new angled versions with screw clamp contacts. The three and four pole connectors consist of a contact carrier and an angled cable outlet with locking screw and the innovative design allows the housing to be mounted in one of two positions 180° apart so that the angled cable outlet can be oriented to suit the application.

Binder-USA Releases IP67-Rated Connector when Unmated

Binder-USA releases the new Series 770 NCC connectors, which are IP67-rated in unmated condition. Applications are primarily in medical and industrial environments where frequent spillages and wash-downs are expected. The panel-mounted receptacle has an internal sliding cap that moves forward and seals the contact area when the plug is disconnected from the receptacle.

Binder show wide range of circular connectors at electronica

Binder UK will be joining forces with its parent company Franz Binder GmbH and showing a wide range of circular connectors on Stand 261 in Hall B3 at Electronica 2012 on 13th to 16th November. Among the extensive display will be high-power versions of M12 connectors that can carry up to 8A on each contact. Until recently M12 connectors have been limited to 4A with a maximum cable diameter of 8mm and individual wire sizes of 0.75mm².

M12 Panel Mount Connectors Featuring Screw Terminators

Right-angle R24 connectors accommodate larger cable sizes

The popular Binder RD24 connector range has been extended with the introduction of new right-angled versions with larger cable outlets. Until now angled versions could only accommodate cables between 6-8mm but the new versions can accommodate cable sizes of 8-10mm (PG11) and 10-12mm (PG13.5) increasing the application range.
