Binder M8 range extended to include 8-pole versions

Binder series 768 and 718 M8 connectors have been enhanced with the introduction of new 8-pole panel-mount versions that have been incorporated in the standard connector bodies that previously could only accommodate 3, 4 and 6 poles.

These new connectors will be ideal for complex applications in drives, controls, sensors and automation equipment.

Three types are offered in both male and female versions: a rear fastened connector and a front fastened connector both of which are pre-terminated with 200mm lengths of 8 x 0.14mm2 wire and a front fastened panel-mount connector with dip-solder contacts for mounting directly to a PCB.

With a connector body of PBT and PA, a nickel plated brass locking nut and gold-plated contacts, these series are protected to IP67 when mated, have a current rating of 1.5A, a rated voltage of 30V (800V on impulse) and accommodate a wire gauge of 0.14mm2 (AWG 26) to 0.5mm2 (AWG 20).
